Transforming Rural Landscapes through Empowerment and Action
Bamoir Bishnupur Vivekananda Smriti Sangha is a premier, non-profit, and secular voluntary organization dedicated to the holistic development of rural communities. Registered under the Society Registration Act XXVI of 1961 by the Government of West Bengal, our Sangha has been a cornerstone of social welfare since its inception.
We operate on the belief that a nation’s progress is rooted in the strength of its villages. By focusing on the “all-round development” of the community, we act as a catalyst for change—turning potential into prosperity through structured intervention and collective participation.
Our Vision
To build a self-reliant and equitable rural society where every individual—regardless of gender or background—has the opportunity to lead a healthy, dignified, and empowered life.
Our Mission
- Empowering the Next Generation: Providing Income-Generating Training-cum-Employment programs for youth and adolescent girls to foster financial independence.
- Holistic Wellness: Improving community health, sanitation, and nutrition through dedicated camps and Physical Fitness/Yoga practices.
- Educational Advocacy: Enhancing rural education and awareness through seminars, workshops, and counseling on social and environmental issues.
- Sustainable Stewardship: Leading the way in poverty alleviation and the conservation of natural resources to protect our environment for future generations.
- Strategic Liaison: Bridging the gap between the community and Government/Funding agencies to ensure welfare measures reach those who need them most.
Our Core Values
- Secularism: We are a non-political association committed to serving all members of society with equality and respect.
- Community-Led Growth: We believe development only gains true momentum when driven by the active participation of the villagers and students themselves.
- Integrity: Maintaining transparency and accountability in every socio-economic project we undertake.
- Resilience: Empowering local groups like Mohila Mondals to become the backbone of rural stability and progress.
What We Do
From the implementation of group-based production units to the organization of village health nutrition camps, our activities are diverse yet focused. We work tirelessly to prevent environmental pollution, provide vocational training for boys and girls, and offer constant support to local youth models in their efforts for community upliftment.
At Bamoir Bishnupur Vivekananda Smriti Sangha, we don’t just provide services; we build the foundation for a sustainable and thriving future.
